About

Experience-Informed, Strength-Based Care

I began working with children as an elementary and middle grades teacher, where I developed a deep understanding of how children learn, grow, and respond to stress and emotional challenges. That early experience led me into school counseling, where I spent years supporting students through anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, and relationship concerns. As a parent of school-aged and teenaged children, I value an approach that is grounded in empathy, understanding, and real-life context. I specialize in working with children and adolescents around stress and anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and social or peer-related challenges. My work is rooted in a strength-based approach that focuses on identifying what is already working and building from there. I aim to provide a supportive, encouraging space where clients feel understood and supported as they grow.
